Do steps 1-2 to produce 2 page paper using Word.

If you are doing a personal Web Site, gather information about you state or city, or talk about genealogy of family to complete all the requirements of the assignment.

Hints and corrections:

  1. Use the following outline for your assignment.
    In step a. on page 98:
        Goals - use bullet format - list at least 3 goals
        Objectives - use bullet format - list at least 5 objectives
        Purpose Statement - combine your goals and objectives into paragraph format
    In step b. on page 98:
        Audience - use bullet format
            Wants, needs, expectations - use bullet format - list at least 3 items here
    In step c. on page 98:
        pages - use bullet format
             - list at least 5 pages here
    In step d. on page 98:
        Value-Added content - use bullet format - list at least 10 things that will add value to your site
            Sources - use bullet format
    In step e. on page 98: just state which structure theme used
    In step e. on page 98:
         use a text outline in Word to position the value-added content under the correct page identified in step d. above
            example: Home Page
                                - email address
                                - pyramid style text stating purpose
                                - company logo

    PS. do the same thing for each page in your web site.

  2. Before printing out your 2 page paper, use the header feature of Word to enter the following course information (INF 186-001, Elementary Web Design, Your Name Here).

(Online Course Students should submit the electronic versions using the drop box in Blackboard of the Word document (CaseStudyWebDesign3LastName),  together with the In-Chapter work from this chapter (In-ChapterWebDesign3LastName), each In-Chapter exercise in the In-Chapter Word document should be on a different page, use the following names (Your Turn Page 72,Your Turn Page 81), reflecting the page in the text from which the work comes. substitute your last name for LastName listed in file name above)
