Hints and corrections:

Before beginning the assignment, use your HTML folder
on your flash drive or J drive, use your IntheLab folder in your HTML folder,
create a folder in your IntheLab
folder called Chapter06. All your work should be in the
following folder path HTML\IntheLab\Chapter06. (Example if your flash drive letter is E: the folder path for all your work is E:\HTML\IntheLab\Chapter06) Before putting in the HTML
code, click on the InTheLab 6 Files Download
link listed in the upper right hand corner to download the graphic
and HTML files needed for this chapter from my web site. Make sure to
store the files in E:\HTML\IntheLab\Chapter06. Click the
Run button for each of the two dialog boxes displayed then type
in the file path where your html file is located, or use the build
button (button with the three dots) to navigate to the proper
drive and folder and click the OK button,
click the Unzip and OK buttons. (The downloaded files
should now be located on E:\HTML\IntheLab\Chapter06.)
- In step 2 on page HTML 295, instead of printing the Web page (name
lab6-2solution.html) in the browser, use the
Alt-PrintScreen keys on your keyboard to get a screen
copy of the HTML validation screen from W3C (see Figure 2-35
on page HTML 67) Paste this screen into a Word
document (HTMLInTheLab6-2LastName) as page 1. Use
the Alt-PrintScreen keys on your keyboard to get a screen
copy of the HTML code and the Web Page as viewed in the
browser. Paste these screens into a Word document
(HTMLInTheLab6-2LastName) as pages 2 and
3.

Instead of doing step 3 letter c. on page HTML 296, use the
downloaded graphic (brightidealogo.jpg) the folder
E:\HTML\IntheLab\Chapter06 instead of
the folder listed in the book.

Instead of doing step 3 letter f. on page HTML 296, when saving
your work (name lab6-2menu.html). Instead of using folder
"Chapter06\IntheLab", use HTML\ChapterFiles\IntheLab. Instead of
printing the HTML file (name lab6-2menu.html), use the

keys on your keyboard to get a screen copy of the HTML
code and the Web Page (name lab6-2home.html) as viewed in the
browser. Paste these screens into a Word document
(HTMLInTheLab6-2LastName) as pages 8 and 9.

copy of the the 2 Web Pages as viewed in the browser.
Paste these screens into a Word document (HTMLInTheLab6-2LastName) as pages 10 and
11.
Add you name and course section number in parenthesis
to the right of the Welcome to the Bright Idea, LLC Web Site
header.
(Online Course Students should submit the
electronic versions using the drop box in Blackboard of the Word
document (HTMLInTheLab6-2LastName),
together with the In-Chapter work from this chapter (HTMLChapterFiles6LastName).
